The Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico in its constant search by improving the current services to the employers of Puerto Rico has developed the initiative of the Portal of Services to Employers whose functionality Web will allow the employers to carry out electronic transactions directly with the Department of Labor and Human Resources without need to physically move or commute to its Main Office or Branches.

The online services that the Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico offers to the employers of Puerto Rico through the Portal of Services to Employers are:

      Report to determine Employer Status Payroll

      Employer Change Condition

      File Quarterly Contribution Report

      Pay Quarterly Report

      New Hires Registry

With the purpose to maintain standards and reliable security levels, the Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico requires that every employer that desire to utilize the online services of the Portal of Services to Employers should to be registered with the Department of Labor and Human Resources, and to have an account of access in the Portal of Services to Employers. These access accounts should be requested by the employers to be directly issued by the Department of Labor and Human Resources.

As part of the automation of our processes and to promote the use of the Portal of Services to Employers, the Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico has created temporary access accounts to all the employers that were registered in our systems. These employers will receive a notification which contains its respective credentials of access and indicates how to access to the Portal. With this temporary account the employers will be able to create their final accounts of access, and then to administer accounts of access to their personnel, assigning them different levels of access to the information according to their responsibilities inside the organization.
